The Asia Pacific region is home to millions of people who have never heard the Word of Jesus Christ. The area contains some of the more densely populated countries in the world including China, Japan, and the Philippines. The Baptist Missionary Association of America began influencing this region in the 1970s when the first BMAA missionary was sent to the Philippines.
Today, there are five American missionaries in Asia Pacific impacting lives for Jesus Christ. The ministries in this region thrive on the development of national missionaries who are reaching their own people and entering areas of countries that are not accessible to American missionaries.
